  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup cup sparkling water
  • 1 cup cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 lemon

  • 1 pinch fine salt
  • 3 Apples

Steps for apple fritter recipe

  • Peel the apples with a peeler and core them with the corer. Slice into pieces about a quarter inch thick. Place the apple slices in a bowl with a little lemon juice to prevent browning

  • In a bowl, beat, with a whisk, the eggs with sugar and a pinch of fine salt

  • until you get a frothy mixture

  • Add, gradually, the sparkling water, always whisking, and the flour

  • Then add the cinnamon and the baking powder

  • Until you get a smooth batter without lumps.

  • Dip one apple at a time into the batter, ensuring they are well coated.

  • Place them, spaced apart, on a 29×23 baking tray lined with parchment paper

  • and bake in a static oven at 356°F for 30 minutes or until golden.

  • Cook the apple fritters in the air fryer at 356°F for 15-16 minutes until golden
