Gnocchi with Gorgonzola

Gnocchi with gorgonzola is a creamy first course suitable to be served any time of the year 😉

Here the sweltering heat continues and cold dishes are still enjoyed but today I wanted a slightly different first course.

It’s been a while since I last made gnocchi and today I craved them.

For the sauce, I wanted to use fresh tomatoes, but I had some gorgonzola cheese in the fridge, so I used it to dress the gnocchi 🙂

The gnocchi are classic potato gnocchi and I made them by hand 😀

If you want to try making them too, here is my recipe: Potato Gnocchi

Usually, cream is used in this first course but I lightened it up by using milk.

I didn’t use oil or salt due to the presence of gorgonzola, which is already a flavorful cheese.

At lunch, I enjoyed this first course and if you want to try it too, here’s my version.

P.S.: Other first courses I recommend you try are:
