Melon granita is perfect to enjoy at the end of a meal or any other time of the day.
It’s one of the most loved flavors of summer because it’s refreshing 😉
Yesterday my trusted greengrocer gave me some melons that needed to be consumed soon because they weren’t very nice.
I enjoyed one accompanied by some slices of prosciutto.
With another, I made ice cream and with the last remaining one, I wanted to experiment with granita for the first time.
Usually, I’m used to buying it at the ice cream shop, but today I tried to make it at home 😀
With a few ingredients, you can easily make it at home.
Since this summer is very hot, besides ice creams, you can also refresh with granitas.
Once you learn how to make them, you can experiment with other flavors as you like.
P.S.: With melon, also try:

Remove the skin from the melon, cut into pieces, and blend until smooth and creamy.
Pour the water into a bowl, add the lemon juice and stir with a spoon.
Add the sugar and stir again until it dissolves.
Combine the blended melon and continue stirring until it is homogeneous.
Pour the mixture into an aluminum tray and leave it in the freezer for at least 8 hours.
Crush the mixture with a fork or blend again until you get the desired consistency.
