The tasty hen is a main course I made for yesterday’s lunch 🙂
As you may have already noticed, I consume a lot of white meat: veal, turkey, chicken, rabbit, etc….
White meat is widely used in the pan or in the oven, and I often vary with the ingredients.
This time I bought a hen and most of the time I cook it in the oven with potatoes.
Great to enjoy at any time, it’s a dish suitable for everyone 😀
It could be an original idea to prepare during the upcoming Christmas holidays.
This main course is prepared with tomatoes, onions, and potatoes.
I called it “tasty hen” because cooked this way, the meat becomes flavorful.
However, the hen lends itself to being cooked with other vegetables, I chose these because they are usually always at home.
So I suggest you also try this version 😉
I bought a hen that was already cleaned inside and I removed the skin.
If you want, you can deglaze with white wine.
