Chia seed and cherry pudding. Ideal for all ages.
To sweeten it, if you like it sweet, you can use brown sugar, or, like in my case, a sweetener.
You just need to heat the milk, and a little rest in the fridge, at least 2 hours to enjoy it well..
It is a dessert/breakfast/snack, light but at the same time delicious and nutritious, made with healthy ingredients, suitable for an omnivorous, vegan, or vegetarian diet, depending on whether you use animal or plant-based milk or yogurt.

Ingredients
let’s go shopping
- 7 oz milk (also plant-based)
- 7 oz plain natural yogurt
- 1/2 cup chia seeds
- 10.5 oz cherries (pitted)
- 1 tsp sweetener (or 2 tbsp of sugar of choice)
- 1 pinch ground cinnamon
Tools
what we need to make
- 2 Bowls
- 4 Glasses
- Hand whisk
- Small saucepan
- Cherry pitter
Preparation
To prepare
Pour the warm milk, yogurt, cinnamon, and the sweetener of your choice into a glass bowl, then add the chia seeds.
Stir with a whisk for 1 minute, repeating the operation at least 5 times, so the milk is well absorbed by the seeds, which are very light and tend to float.
For this reason, it is important to stir them several times to mix them well with the milk
Divide the mixture into 4 small bowls and place in the fridge for at least 2 hours to set.
In the meantime, pit the cherries and put them in a small saucepan with 1 tablespoon of water, and cook them for 5 minutes, stirring on low heat.
Set aside and let cool
After the time has passed, the pudding has cooled, top each with a portion of syrupy cherries, and serve
