Today’s dish was designed with children in mind because they love fish sticks, and these meatballs are somewhat similar. They will be nice and soft on the inside and colorful on the outside, just like the sticks.

- 1 cup breadcrumbs (seasoned Sicilian-style see recipe)
- 1.8 oz corn flakes

Place the garlic and parsley in the bowl of your robot, if you have a Thermomix: 10 sec vel. 5. Gather with the spatula and put it in the bowl to season the breadcrumbs.
Cut the cod fillets into coarse pieces, and add them to the bowl without washing it, add the fish, and chop, for the Thermomix: turbo 2 seconds twice.
Now transfer the chop all into a bowl.
Prepare the Sicilian-style breadcrumbs by following this recipe.
and add it to the bowl together with the egg and fish chop.
Then knead and form the meatballs
Chop the corn flakes in the robot reducing them to a coarse flour, transfer the cereal flour into a bowl and bread each meatball one by one.
Now decide whether to fry them in a pan with plenty of seed oil, or in an air fryer, 8 minutes at 375° following the instructions of your device.
You can also bake them in the oven for 10 minutes at 356°.
In any case, you will have crunchy and tasty cod meatballs.

The meatballs can be stored in the refrigerator either raw or cooked, but it is advisable that the corn flakes coating is done only at the time of cooking to remain crispy and fragrant.
