Cucumber Appetizer Finger Food

Cucumber appetizer finger food. How many times have unexpected guests arrived, and you don’t know what to serve with the aperitif?
Here is my solution, with a few things you keep in the fridge and pantry.
Accompanied by a good wine, you’ll make an amazing impression between one chat and another.
Fresh cucumbers are mostly made up of water (95%) and this characteristic, combined with a decent vitamin and mineral content, gives them refreshing, anti-gout, and purifying properties.
Their use in salads is recommended during the sweltering months of summer.

Preparation

  • Wash all the vegetables, remove the ends from the cucumber, and with the help of a knife, cut it into 3 pieces.

Each piece should become a cup, so you need to gently hollow it out without piercing the bottom. Salt and set upside down.

  • Gather the pulp, cut it into cubes, and place it on a plate.

Cut the tomato in half and remove the seeds and inner part.

Then continue cutting it into thin wedges.

  • Set aside 3 wedges to decorate the cups, and chop the rest into cubes, adding them to the cucumber pulp.

Drain the excess oil from the tuna using a strainer and crumble it onto the plate.

  • Now you can season the vegetables and tuna on the plate with salt, olive oil, pepper, and oregano.

Fill the cucumber cups and decorate with thinly sliced onion and the 3 tomato wedges you set aside.

  • Place the cups on a plate and garnish with the remaining tomato and cucumber ends. Season everything with salt, olive oil, and oregano, and add a sprig of basil.
