Feta with Green Beans in Tomato Sauce
This is a dish with a light and intriguing flavor, which can be made with regular green beans, snake beans, or flat beans.
Today, I present to you a main dish partly “stolen” from my dear grandma Maria. I will prepare them with tomato.

- 1.1 lbs green beans (classic, or flat, or snake)
- 1 clove garlic
- 2 tbsps extra virgin olive oil
- 10.5 oz tomato puree (rustic or tomatoes)
- chopped basil

Steps
To prepare with pot and pan cooking
Let’s go to the kitchen: For this dish, you can use all types of green beans.
These are the typical snake or paesanella beans.
The classics,
or the flat ones
Whatever type you are using, wash them, and trim the ends.
Bring a pot of salted water to a boil,
Once it boils, add the green beans, cover and cook for about 10-12 minutes.
Then drain and cool with cold water.
In the pan, add the olive oil and garlic pieces and let them sauté for 1 minute.
Once the garlic is sautéed, add the chunky or rustic tomato puree,
Add a pinch of salt, and stir.
Meanwhile, you can cut the feta into 0.5-inch cubes.
Let the tomato cook for 3 minutes, then add the green beans, stir and continue cooking for 2 minutes, then add the feta cubes and stir gently,
Add plenty of basil leaves.
Serve hot or cold.
Wash the green beans, trim the ends, and place them inside the basket.

When the time is up, remove the green beans from the basket, dry the bowl well and position it

Once the garlic has sautéed, add the chunky or rustic tomato puree,
Add a pinch of salt, place the basket in place of the measuring cup, and
let the tomato cook for 3 minutes at 212°F speed 1.
Meanwhile, you can cut the feta into 0.5-inch pieces.
Once the time has elapsed, add the green beans, and continue cooking for 3 min, reverse, 212°F spoon speed, with the basket in place of the measuring cup
Pour the contents of the bowl into a soup bowl, or a plate, then add the feta and mix, adding plenty of basil.
Storage
Feta with green beans in tomato sauce can be stored in the fridge for 3 days. With the same recipe, you can use regular green beans or flat beans.
