Homemade Cooking Cream

Preparing Cooking Cream is very easy and quick.
Sometimes we need this condiment and don’t have it at home. So what do we do? Go out to buy it? No, absolutely make it at home very quickly.
Cooking Cream is a creamy ingredient that can be used to dress pasta or enrich sauces, creams.
To make it even tastier and feel more of the milk flavor, in addition to using whole milk, I added a bit of cream cheese, here’s my secret.

- cup whole milk (chilled)
- cup sunflower seed oil
- 1 tbsp cream cheese (optional but will give an extra boost)
- to taste salt

- 1 Immersion Blender or the Bimby
- 1 Container with lid
Steps
To prepare
you will need an immersion blender.
Pour the milk and, if desired, a pinch of salt and cream cheese into the blender cup or a narrow tall saucepan.
Turn the immersion blender to the highest speed, and simultaneously pour the oil in a thin stream, a little at a time
You will see that in a few minutes you will have a creamy and homogeneous mixture.
The fresh cooking cream is ready.
Store it in the refrigerator for an hour before using it.
To make Homemade Cooking Cream with the Bimby, put the milk with a pinch of salt and cream cheese if you like in the cup.
Close with the measuring cup and, mix for 30 sec at speed 8 to dissolve the salt.
With the lid and the measuring cup slightly raised, turn on the Bimby for 50 sec at speed 8 and meanwhile pour the oil onto the lid so it will drip into the milk little by little
Transfer the Homemade Cooking Cream into a bowl or airtight container and store it in the fridge until use.
Storage, it keeps for up to 2 days in the fridge.
