Tools
What we need to prepare
- 1 Bowl
- 1 Fork
- 1 Sieve
- 1 Jar with lid
- 1 Saucepan
Steps
to prepare
Start by weighing all the ingredients, then transfer them to a bowl and sift them with a simple tea strainer and the help of a teaspoon.
At this point, if you need to gift or store the hot chocolate mix like at the cafe, transfer the mixture into airtight jars.
You can prepare it in the classic way in a saucepan or in the microwave.
You can cook it using simple water or, as I like, milk; vegans can use plant-based milk, I recommend oat milk.
For 1 person, about 2/3 cup (5 oz) of water or milk is needed.
Procedure
Pour about 2 tablespoons of the mixture into a cup, and gradually add the liquid part, stirring with a fork or an immersion blender, so as not to form lumps.
If you want to prepare Hot Chocolate Like at the Cafe in a saucepan, just put the saucepan on low heat and stir until it reaches the desired consistency.
For microwave preparation, once the mixture is mixed directly in the cup, cook at 750w for 1 minute, then stir and cook for another minute.
However, I recommend using a very large cup so that the chocolate doesn’t overflow while cooking.
With the Bimby, pour the ingredients together into the bowl, close the lid and set 9 minutes at 194°F speed 4.
