In a pot, add the chopped onion and 1 garlic clove, pour in the oil and sauté for 3 minutes.

I chose a precooked grain mix without rice, and it has a cooking time of 15 minutes.
If you want to cook loose grains, you should cook them according to their cooking times, which are not the same for all, so I recommend following the times described on the packages.
