Steps

Traditional recipe

  • With the traditional recipe, you need to mix the flour with the baking powder and sift them.

  • Then, in a bowl or your stand mixer, combine the egg, yolk, sugar, and a pinch of salt, and with the help of the electric whisk, beat them.

  • As soon as the mixture has lightened, add the ginger, vanilla, and butter and continue mixing for a few minutes.
