Original Maltese Pancakes Recipe.
Every food has its origins, but have you ever wondered if Pancakes are truly American or of Anglo-Saxon origin?
Believe it or not, the recipe originates from Greece, where they were called teganites, referring to the type of pan in which they were prepared, albeit without yeast.
During their passage through Europe, they were enriched with yeast, and with the discovery of America, the recipe spread, eventually becoming the delicious pancakes stuffed with maple syrup, jam, honey, or nuts.
I’ll also show you the procedure with the Bimby.
