To make
You must start with the prawns, shell them, but do not throw away the scraps as you can make a good stock to make risottos.
Now prepare the Sicilian seasoned breadcrumbs following my recipe, click here.
Take 1/3 of the breadcrumbs and place it in a separate bowl where you will add the eggs and beat them.
With the help of a fork, dip the prawns one by one into the batter,
and then bread them in the rest of the breadcrumbs we made earlier.
Press well to make the breadcrumbs stick well, thus forming a crust.
Now decide how to cook the Sicilian Crusted Prawns:
In the oven: Preheat the ventilated oven to 375°F. Once the temperature is reached, place parchment paper on a baking sheet and arrange the prawns on it. Cook for about 5 minutes.
In the pan: Pour peanut oil and heat it up. Once hot, immerse the prawns and cook on all sides until golden brown. Then place the prawns on absorbent paper
In the air fryer: arrange the prawns in the air fryer basket and cook them at 375°F for 10 minutes.
