Steps
Let’s go to the kitchen to prepare
This recipe can be prepared in the microwave, air fryer, oven, and even on the BBQ. The only thing that changes between these cooking methods is the wrapping.
In the microwave, we will only use parchment paper, while for other cooking methods, the parchment paper will be wrapped in aluminum foil.Choose medium potatoes about 3.5 oz each, wash and brush them well.
Take each potato individually and wrap it like a candy in parchment paper. If microwaving. For other cooking methods, in addition to parchment paper, you must also add aluminum foil.
Once all the potatoes are wrapped, you can microwave them for ten minutes at 750 watts.
Or in a static oven for about twenty minutes at 356°F (180°C), or in an air fryer for 15 minutes at 392°F (200°C), or on the BBQ grill not in direct contact with the fire.
When the potatoes are cooked, slightly open the wrapping from the top without completely freeing them from it.
With a knife, make a small central cut.Slightly widen the pulp and extract about a tablespoon to hollow them out a bit.
In the center of each potato add salt, oil, and herbs.
Next put a portion of smoked provola
and a portion of bacon or other deli meat of your choice. Drizzle a bit of EVO oil on top.
Put the potatoes back in the oven, microwave, air fryer, or on the BBQ and finish cooking for another five minutes, grill mode. Serve the stuffed baked potatoes immediately while hot
Once cooked, Stuffed Baked Potatoes can be stored in the fridge for up to two days. They are not suitable for freezing.
