HOW TO PREPARE THE CLOUD CAKE

  • FIRST STEP CREAM: Whip the heavy cream, it should be semi-whipped, not too hard, and set it aside

SECOND STEP EGGS: Beat the eggs with the sugar for 3 minutes until they are nice and frothy, add the cream a little at a time and mix gently with a spatula, add the sifted flour with the baking powder, you will get a nice thick batter.

THIRD STEP BAKING: Pour everything into a cake pan, I used a rectangular pan lined with baking paper, but if you prefer you can butter and flour it, pour everything in, and at this point either use a piping bag or a teaspoon to add the jam, forming strips as if it were a tart. Bake at 350°F for about 30 minutes but adjust according to your oven. Once baked, dust with powdered sugar and enjoy this cloud of softness.
