Simple and quick, ready in a few minutes, it’s very hard to resist one after another. To make the pastries, I used ready-made puff pastry and the cream is very simple, just mix the whipped cream with the mascarpone and a little sugar and the cream is ready. I filled these treats with fresh blueberries, but you can use any type of fruit. Try them and you’ll see how delightful they are. LET’S MAKE THE PUFF PASTRIES TOGETHER
Steps
Open the roll of puff pastry and cut out squares, I made 8. Arrange them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake them at 356°F for about 15/20 minutes but adjust based on your oven. Once baked, remove them from the oven and let them cool; you’ll notice that the squares have puffed up. Now prepare the cream. Whip the cream with the sugar. Place the mascarpone in a bowl and work it with a fork or electric beaters, gently fold in the whipped cream. Cut the puff pastry squares in half and fill them with the cream, close them, put a dollop of cream on top of the puff pastry square, and place a fresh blueberry on top. Dust with powdered sugar and enjoy your puff pastries.
If you want, you can also prepare the puff pastry the day before, but don’t fill it beforehand, otherwise, it will become too soft and won’t be crispy anymore. You can replace puff pastry with phyllo dough for an even crunchier texture.
