Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 yolk
  • 3.5 oz sunflower oil
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1.75 cups all-purpose flour
  • Half packet baking powder
  • grated zest of one lemon
  • jam (to taste)
  • Greek yogurt (to taste)
  • powdered sugar (for dusting)

HOW TO PREPARE THE SHORTCRUST CAKE WITH THE BIMBY

  • First step: Put the lemon zest with sugar in the bowl and 10 seconds speed 10

    Second step: Add the rest of the ingredients 1 minute speed 4

    Baking: Line a round pan about 9 inches with parchment paper and pour the batter using a spoon, add spoonfuls of jam trying to let it drop a little down and finally, add Greek yogurt in spoonfuls as well then bake at 350°F for about 35 minutes but adjust with your oven. Remove from the oven and dust with powdered sugar.

    METHOD WITHOUT BIMBY: Quickly beat the eggs with sugar, you can easily use a hand whisk, add the aroma, oil, milk, and finally the flour sifted with baking powder. You will obtain a batter very similar to a bundt cake but a bit thicker and then proceed as above.

ADVICE AND VARIATIONS

You can replace the oil with melted butter and you can use any type of jam or even a spread
