Steps

LET’S PREPARE THE CAKE

  • To make this cake, you can follow this recipe and just add the mascarpone

After mixing the ingredients, divide the batter into three bowls, add cocoa with milk to one and mix, add coffee to another and mix, and leave the last plain. Flour and butter a cake pan of about 9 1/2 inches, pour first the chocolate batter, then the coffee one, and finally the plain one. Bake at 350°F for about 35 minutes but always adjust with your oven and do the toothpick test. Remove from the oven and while still hot, brush it with coffee and then dust with cocoa. You’ll taste how delicious it is

FAQ (Questions and Answers)

  • WHY SHOULD YOU MOISTEN IT WITH COFFEE?

Because it gets slightly soaked like when we dip the biscuits to make tiramisu’ the coffee makes it more moist but it can be omitted
