Ingredients for the Marry Cake with Peanut Butter
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2.5 oz dark chocolate
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 6 tbsp butter
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Half a packet baking powder
- 1 pinch fine salt
- 17 oz mascarpone
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 3/4 cup powdered sugar
- Zimtsterne cookies or any star-shaped cookie
- Christmas sprinkles

Steps for Marry Cake with Peanut Butter
To make this delicious marry cake, prepare the mud cake batter in advance. In a small saucepan, melt the butter, chocolate, and milk. Once everything is melted, turn off the heat and let it cool. Meanwhile, in a bowl, whisk the eggs, vanilla extract, and sugar with a hand whisk for a few minutes, then add the chocolate mixture and blend thoroughly. Finally, add the flour, salt, and sifted cocoa powder and mix vigorously. Add the baking powder last. Pour the homogeneous mixture into a previously greased and floured 8-inch pan and bake in a preheated static oven at 350°F for about 35 minutes. Perform the toothpick test. Turn off the oven, remove the cake, and let it cool.
In a large bowl or stand mixer, beat the mascarpone with the powdered sugar and peanut butter until you get a fluffy mixture. Place the cream in a piping bag.
Cut the chocolate mud cake into 3 layers, leveling the layers so you have 3 layers of the same height. On a serving plate, place the first layer of chocolate mud cake and fill with the peanut butter cream, leveling well, then add the other layer of mud cake and more filling, and finally the last layer of mud cake. With the help of a cake spatula, glaze the entire cake with the remaining cream. Leave a bit of cream for the final decoration.
Place the remaining cream in a piping bag equipped with a star nozzle and decorate the surface with dollops. Finally, have fun decorating the cake with star-shaped cookies and sprinkles.
