  • 1 egg
  • 2/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup sunflower oil
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch fine salt
  • Nutella®
  • Sprinkles

Steps for Nutella Moncakes

  • To make these moncakes, first freeze a few spoonfuls of Nutella. Just place a few dollops of Nutella on parchment paper and put them in the freezer to freeze for 30 minutes. Meanwhile, beat the egg with the sugar and vanilla extract in a bowl using a hand whisk to obtain a frothy, whitish cream. Add the sunflower oil and milk, and continue to mix carefully. Then add the sifted flour, pinch of salt, and baking powder to the mixture and blend well. Finally, pour in the unsweetened cocoa powder and mix until you get a smooth and homogeneous batter.

  • Pour 2 tablespoons of batter into the silicone hemisphere molds and place the dollop of Nutella in the center, cover with the remaining batter and bake in a static oven preheated to 350°F for about 20 minutes, do the toothpick test. You should get about 7-8 moncakes. Let them cool.
