Steps for pasta with octopus, shrimp, and scampi
To make this pasta with octopus, shrimp, and scampi, first prepare the octopus sauce. You can ask your trusted fishmonger to cut the octopus into small pieces for you. I preferred to do it this way. In a pan, add extra virgin olive oil, garlic, and sauté. Add the octopus cut into small pieces and sauté for a few minutes. Add the pre-halved red and yellow tomatoes, salt, and pepper, and let it cook for a few minutes. Deglaze with white wine, let it evaporate, then add water and the Knorr fish broth cube or broth heart and let it cook with a lid for 25-30 minutes or until the octopus is cooked and tender. Five minutes before turning off the octopus sauce, add the previously cleaned and shelled fresh shrimp and scampi, and let them cook. Meanwhile, boil the water for the pasta. Pour the pasta and cook it according to the chosen pasta format’s cooking time. Cook it al dente, keeping the cooking water, and pour it into the pan, letting it blend for a few minutes, making a delicious creamy sauce. Taste for salt and finally serve the pasta on a serving plate with plenty of chopped parsley and raw extra virgin olive oil. And here it is, ready, the pasta with octopus, shrimp, and scampi. I hope you like my latest recipe, see you next time, friends.
