Hello friends, today I present you these delicious peanut ice cream bars that are really simple to make. I don’t know about you, but I love the famous Snickers bar, this bar is similar for some ingredients I’ve used but is in ice cream form. Below you will find the recipe.
- Difficulty: Very Easy
- Cost: Cheap
- Cuisine: Italian
Ingredients for Peanut Ice Cream Bars
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3/4 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 7 oz peanut butter (Or caramel spread)
- 3/4 cup unsalted roasted peanuts
- 9 oz dark or milk chocolate
Tools
- 1 Loaf pan
- 1 Parchment paper
- 1 Bowl
- Electric beaters
- 1 Knife
Steps for Peanut Ice Cream Bars
To make these delicious bars, first prepare the easy ice cream base. In a bowl, whip the cold heavy cream from the fridge with electric beaters until stiff. Then, slowly add the cold sweetened condensed milk from the fridge until you get a fluffy mixture. Take a 10-11 inch loaf pan and line it with parchment paper, pour the ice cream base into the pan, leveling it perfectly, and place in the freezer to firm up for about an hour. Remove the pan from the freezer and pour the peanut butter creating a perfectly aligned layer. Spread the peanuts and place in the freezer to firm for 5-6 hours or overnight.
Melt the chocolate in a double boiler until smooth. Let it cool. After the hours in the freezer, remove the pan and unmold the block onto a cutting board. Using a knife, cut the bars into equal sizes and quickly dip them in the melted chocolate. Then place them on a tray lined with parchment or aluminum foil and return to the freezer.
When you want to enjoy the ice cream bars, simply take them from the freezer and leave them at room temperature for a few minutes. I hope you like my latest recipe, see you next time friends.
STORAGE, TIPS AND NOTES
The peanut ice cream bars can be stored in the freezer for a month. If you like, you can replace peanut butter with a caramel spread or enrich the peanut butter with caramel sauce.
