- 7 milk or dark chocolate eggs
- as needed granulated sugar for decoration

Steps for Ricotta and Chocolate Puffs
To make these delicious ricotta and chocolate puffs, unroll the puff pastry sheet and let it sit at room temperature for 5 minutes. Use a 4-inch round cutter to cut out discs and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Meanwhile, in a bowl, mix the ricotta with the powdered sugar, add the chocolate chips or shavings, and mix well. Place 1-2 tablespoons of filling in the center of each disc, leaving the edges free. Place a chocolate egg in the center of each filling, then brush the edges with the beaten egg and sprinkle with granulated sugar. Bake in a preheated static oven at 355°F-375°F for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from the oven and let cool.
And here they are, the ricotta and chocolate puffs. I hope you enjoy this latest recipe of mine, see you next time, friends.
STORAGE, TIPS, AND NOTES
The puffs can also be made in advance. If desired, you can use mascarpone instead of ricotta as a filling.
