Steps for Stuffed Pandoro with Mascarpone Mousse, Cream, and Candied Orange

  • To make this fantastic stuffed pandoro, you need to prepare the cream. In a nice large bowl, add the mascarpone very cold from the fridge, the fresh liquid cream very cold, along with the powdered sugar and vanilla essence, and beat for a few minutes with the help of electric beaters to obtain a frothy and dense mixture. Place in a piping bag and store in the fridge to set for about 20 minutes.

  • Cut off both ends of the pandoro, cut out the inside, and hollow out leaving just a bit of the base. Fill with a layer of mascarpone and cream mousse, add the candied orange cubes, and continue until the pandoro is completely filled, including the surface and tips. Leave some filling for the final decoration. Then decorate with plenty of pomegranate seeds and put in the fridge to set for 2 hours. After two hours, take the pandoro from the fridge and with the remaining cream, place it gently on the pandoro, creating a sort of peak. Decorate with more pomegranate seeds and serve with plenty of powdered sugar as if it were snowing.

  • And here it is, the stuffed pandoro with mascarpone mousse, cream, and candied orange is ready. I hope you like my latest recipe, see you next time, friends.

STORAGE, TIPS, AND NOTES
