Steps for Valdostana Crepe Bundles on a Bed of Parmesan Fondue
To make these tasty Valdostana crepe bundles on a bed of Parmesan fondue, first prepare the crepes in advance and prepare the Parmesan fondue. In a small pot, pour the fresh cream and a pinch of black pepper and start heating it over medium heat, add the grated Parmigiano Reggiano and stir with a wooden spoon and let it thicken for a few minutes. If you want a smooth and creamy consistency, just blend with an immersion blender. Set aside.
Place the crepe on a cutting board and fill it with ham and slices of fontina cheese. Close it into a bundle using fresh chives or a toothpick and place in a baking dish. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for about ten minutes. Take the bundles out of the oven and serve them on a plate over a bed of Parmesan fondue. And here they are, ready to be enjoyed, the Valdostana crepe bundles. I hope you like my latest recipe, see you next time friends.
