The beef burrito is a fusion of Texan and Mexican cuisine, rich in flavors wrapped in a thin, crispy tortilla. A super tasty one-dish meal that, when homemade, makes it even more delicious and appetizing because the ingredients can be chosen according to your taste. Burritos are fantastic for an informal, tasty, and alternative dinner or for quick lunches. Unlike tacos, the Tex-Mex tortilla is made from wheat flour. In this recipe, I stuffed the burrito with beef cooked with peppers and onions, and filled with cheeses, very simple with basic ingredients. So, all you have to do is try and taste!

Steps
First, prepare the vegetables. Cut the bell pepper into strips, slice the onions and carrots, then crush the garlic and chop the chili into pieces.
In the pot, put a drizzle of oil, heat it, and add the vegetables, salt, and pepper.
Cook over medium heat for 5 minutes.
Then add the meat and raise the heat a bit.
Sauté the meat, and when the bottom is dry, deglaze with the wine.
Always at higher heat, let it evaporate.
Add the sauce and a bit of water that you will use to clean the container where it was contained.
Salt, add the paprika, cover, and cook over low heat for about 1 hour or until well dried.
The meat is ready! Now you just have to fill the burrito.
Take the tortilla and warm it up a bit in a pan or microwave.
Place a slice of Leerdammer, then a portion of meat, and if you want, some spicy oil.
Cut the cheddar slices and add them on top.
Start rolling it by first closing the side parts,
then fold the tip inward
and roll until closed.
Now finish with a light toasting. In a pan, put a knob of butter, heat well, place the burrito, and brown on all sides, so the cheeses inside will melt too.
The beef burrito is ready!
Cut it in half and enjoy it hot.
Storage
The hot burrito should be enjoyed immediately. You can fill them and store them in the fridge until the next day without toasting; do it only when you are ready to consume it.
Variations
The burrito can be filled in many ways, with chicken, vegetables, cheeses, sauces, sour cream, red or black beans, rice, etc. You can add spices like coriander and cumin.
