Chocolate and Almond Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 2/3 cups cake flour
  • 1/3 cup potato starch
  • 3 eggs
  • 7 tbsp clarified butter
  • 3.5 oz dark chocolate
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3.5 oz almonds
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 1 packet vanillin

Steps

  • In a bowl, place the eggs and sugar, beat until you obtain a light and frothy mixture.

  • Add the soft butter and continue to beat. Once the butter is well melted, pour in the milk at room temperature.

  • Mix the dry ingredients, flour, starch, baking powder, and vanillin, and add them to the mixture. Mix all the ingredients well.

  • Take the chocolate and almonds and chop them coarsely.

  • Pour them into the mixture. Butter and flour the baking pan, pour the mixture and tap the base to settle it.

  • Bake at 356°F in a preheated fan oven for about 25 minutes. Always do the toothpick test.

  • The chocolate and almond cake is ready!!

  • Decorate it with powdered sugar.

Storage

You can store the chocolate and almond cake for up to 3 days covered with plastic wrap or under a cake dome.
