A classic of quick, easy, tasty, and versatile preparations. In this recipe I offer you the super tasty stuffed omelette, soft and creamy, what can I say! I love it….perfect for breakfast, dinner, and light lunches. Unlike the frittata, the omelette is really made in 5 minutes and there is no “problem” of having to flip it..it can be customized according to your tastes or what you have in the fridge at that moment, which is why it never disappoints anyone. The omelette is a typical French dish, but it is now prepared in all countries, the basic ingredients are always the same, eggs, milk, and salt, if you prefer you can decide to enjoy it even without filling. So you just have to try!
- Difficulty: Easy
- Cost: Cheap
- Preparation time: 10 Minutes
- Portions: 1 Person
- Cooking methods: Stove
- Cuisine: Italian
Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- to taste salt
- oil in pan
- 2 slices processed cheese
- 3 slices mortadella
Tools
- Pan 10 inch
Steps
Start by seasoning the eggs with milk and salt, beat well.
In the pan, add enough oil to cover the entire bottom, turn on the moderate heat, and let it warm up.
Pour the eggs in and after 1 minute move the pan with circular movements to even out the temperature. Cover and cook for about 5 minutes still on moderate heat, moving gently.
You will see the bottom cooked evenly, but the inside should remain creamy.
After 5 minutes, turn off the heat and season the omelette with the chosen ingredients, in my case I added the processed cheese first and then the mortadella.
Fold in half and plate it. The stuffed omelette is ready. Delicious!!
Storage
The omelette is best eaten as soon as it’s ready to prevent it from losing its creaminess.
