Turkey Cutlets with Curry

Tasty and flavorful turkey cutlets with curry and a fabulous sauce. We know that curry is very aromatic, containing many spices such as turmeric, cumin, ginger, cloves, coriander, etc., and it pairs very well with meat and vegetables. A main course to serve at quick dinners with family and friends that will surprise them. In this recipe, to make things easier and quicker, I used ready-made turkey cutlets bought from the butcher, seasoned only with cheese, salt, and parsley. Turkey is a flavorful yet delicate meat, and enhanced with curry, I guarantee a perfect result. In no time, you’ll have a finger-licking dish… actually, I recommend some crusty bread to mop up the sauce!!! So, you just have to taste it!!

  • Difficulty: Easy
  • Cost: Economical
  • Preparation time: 15 Minutes
  • Portions: 4
  • Cooking methods: Stovetop
  • Cuisine: Italian

Ingredients

  • 2.2 lbs turkey cutlets
  • 1 1/4 cups water
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • Half cup white wine
  • Half onion
  • 1 teaspoon broth cube (or one cube)
  • 1 1/2 tbsp butter
  • oil
  • parsley
  • chili pepper
  • curry to taste
  • salt
  • flour as needed for breading

Tools

  • Pan

Steps

  • First, flour the cutlets, then in a perforated container, remove the excess flour.

  • In the pan, sauté the oil with the butter.

  • Once it has reached the temperature, add the cutlets, increase the heat slightly, and brown for 5 minutes, turning them to prevent sticking, then deglaze with the wine, allowing it to evaporate for about 3 minutes over moderate heat.

  • After a few minutes, remove the cutlets from the pan and set them aside.

  • Prepare the cup of broth with water, the broth cube, and the tomato paste (heat a little in the microwave or on the stove, just enough to dissolve the cube and the paste).

  • Pour the broth into the same pan where the cutlets were and add the onion, parsley, chili pepper, and curry. Cook for 5 minutes over moderate heat.

  • Return the cutlets that you had set aside to the broth, cover, and cook over moderate heat for 20 minutes, turning them occasionally.

  • At the end of cooking, turn off the heat, adjust the salt if necessary, and serve hot.

  • The turkey cutlets with curry are ready. Enjoy your meal!!!

Storage

It is preferable to eat the turkey cutlets with curry freshly made and hot, but you can store them in the refrigerator until the next day, reheating them in the microwave or on the stovetop before eating.
