Steps

  • We start by cleaning the kale leaves. For each leaf, pull upwards to remove the central vein and keep only the leaf portion. Wash and dry thoroughly.

  • In a bowl, season the leaves with oil, salt, and chili powder. Mix gently with a spoon.
    On the microwave’s crisp plate (or a baking tray), distribute the leaves so they don’t overlap.
    Cook in the Microwave with crisp function for 5 minutes
    Or in a convection oven at 350°F for 7 minutes

Storage and Tips

Kale leaves naturally tend to be bitter, so after cooking, you can season them with a pinch of salt to reduce the bitterness.
