It’s prepared in half an hour and doesn’t need to rise!, ensuring you make a great impression with your guests.

Ingredients for Skillet Focaccia with Sausages and Broccoli

  • 3 1/3 cups flour
  • 1 cup water
  • 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 packet instant yeast for savory preparations (for focaccias and flatbreads)
  • 10.5 oz sausages
  • 7 oz steamed broccoli
  • 3.5 oz scamorza cheese

What You Might Need to Prepare Skillet Focaccia

  • 1 Pan Sphera Pan

Let’s Prepare the Skillet Focaccia

  • Knead all the ingredients for the dough, by hand or with a mixer, and form a smooth dough ball.⁠
    Let it rest for 15 minutes covered with a cloth.

    While the dough rests, sauté in the pan the sausages and cut them into pieces.


    Now roll out two discs of dough and place the filling of sausages, boiled broccoli, and a few slices of scamorza cheese.⁠
    Cook in a hot non-stick pan for about 5-6 minutes per side (use the lid to help flip it), or use the sphera pan

    Et voilà! Soft, crispy, and delicious in 30 minutes!⁠

Tips

You can prepare the skillet focaccia in advance and slightly warm it before serving.

As you might have guessed, you can fill it with anything you like. This version with sausages and broccoli is just my take, but you can try:

– Peppers and mozzarella

– Ham and cheese
