Tools
What you need to prepare the turkey and bell pepper bites
- 1 Pan frying pan
- 1 Spoon wooden spoon
Steps
1. Cut the bites into small pieces, according to the size you prefer, and remove excess fat using a knife. I recommend making bites of about 3/4 inch each, this will speed up cooking.
2. Heat the oil and chopped onion in the pan.
3. Cut and clean the bell pepper, removing the filaments, and place them in the pan, letting them wilt with a lid.
4. Once wilted, you can add the turkey bites.
5. Lower the heat, cover with a lid, and cook for 15 minutes, stirring. If everything dries out too much, you can extend with a bit of water.
6. Taste a piece of turkey to check if it’s cooked, then adjust the salt and pepper. In any case, it will not take more than 20 minutes in total.
FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)
Can I prepare the turkey and bell pepper bites in advance?
Of course, yes! Turkey stew is even better the next day as the flavors blend better. You can prepare it in advance and store it in the refrigerator for 2-3 days in an airtight container. To reheat, just warm it up in a pan over low heat with a bit of water or broth to prevent it from drying out.
