Ingredients
- 5 fl oz Whole Milk
- 1 Coffee
- to taste Chocolate
- to taste Sugar
Tools
- Milk Frother
Preparation
Pour the milk into the frother’s pitcher. I used an electric one, but there are various types available on the market. Read the instructions regarding the use of the machine for guidance on the amount of milk to pour. Do not exceed the recommended limit.
Turn on the machine and wait until the light indicates that the foamy milk is ready.
Pour the coffee previously prepared with the moka pot into a large cup.
Add the hot foamy milk on top, and if you’re skilled (it just takes practice:)), you can even create fancy designs simply by moving your hand while pouring.
Some create designs like a heart, or even multiple hearts together, trees, etc… You can really let your imagination run wild. All this is achieved with the blend of dark coffee and white milk foam.If you’re short on time but want to add a personal touch to your foamy cappuccino to make it even better, chocolate flakes are a perfect match.
You can get the flakes using a bread slicer and a knife.
You can enjoy your homemade foamy cappuccino with your favorite breakfast cookies or even with a croissant, which is a classic Italian breakfast.
Now, not just at a café, but also at home, conveniently and whenever you desire.Sweeten the cappuccino to your liking. Personally, I prefer it without since dunking cookies are already sweet, and I prefer not to overdo sugars, as recommended in all dietary guidelines.
Cappuccino with Foam
Note that it’s important to use whole milk and not skim or soy milk to achieve a perfect foamy cappuccino. It’s better if the coffee is strong. It’s amusing that the Italian cappuccino is named after the color of the robes worn by Capuchin monks 🙂 (read somewhere). Also, come and peek at my social media pinterest instagram twitter facebook
