The benefits of chamomile and sage have been known since ancient times. They were both used by grandmothers who passed down these natural remedies useful for many things.. Did you know that adding fresh or dried sage to chamomile makes it even more effective? Chamomile is also recommended for small children and the elderly but benefits everyone. “Chamomile and sage benefits” without side effects :). To dry chamomile, just put the flowers in a net bag and hang it in the sun until it’s well dried. Chamomile is mainly harvested between May/June and sage also in April. Chamomile’s effectiveness is proven to relieve stomach aches due to menstrual cycle, insomnia, restlessness, etc. Sage, on the other hand, has anti-inflammatory and balsamic properties. You’ll find chamomile in handy soluble sachets too, but homemade is better.

- 1 teaspoon Chamomile (Dried flowers)
- 2 leaves Sage (Dried or fresh)
- 7 oz Water
- 1 teaspoon Honey (Wildflower honey is highly recommended)

Preparation
Prepare it as an infusion tea. Boil about 7 oz of water (enough for a cup) in a pot, and add a heaping teaspoon of dried chamomile flowers and two sage leaves. Boil for 4-5 minutes in total.
Cover the pot with a saucer to keep the drink from cooling and to maintain the aroma by letting it rest for about fifteen minutes.
Reheat the chamomile and pour into a cup filtering it through a strainer. Sweeten with a teaspoon of honey.
