Homemade Chocolate and Nutella Ice Cream without an Ice Cream Maker

Homemade chocolate and Nutella ice cream even without an ice cream maker is a guaranteed success. It just takes a little effort to make it.
The difficulties are minimal, 🙂 and the satisfaction is great.

Chocolate and Nutella Ice Cream

Ingredients

  • 160 ml Milk
  • 500 ml Fresh cream
  • 150 g Dark chocolate
  • 2 tablespoons Nutella

Tools

  • Food processor

Preparation

  • Roughly chop the chocolate using a breadboard and a bread knife.

    Dark chocolate
  • Melt the chocolate in the microwave on minimum power, 50 g of chocolate together with two tablespoons of Nutella for about 1 minute.

    MELTED CHOCOLATE
  • Cool down a bit on the stove and then place in the refrigerator.

    Whip the cream in the food processor until it becomes thick and firm.

    If tilting the container it stays attached and doesn’t pour, it means it is the right point.

  • Pour the milk with the melted chocolate and Nutella into a steel container (previously cooled in the freezer for an hour) and mix in the cream, stirring gently with a wooden spoon to not deflate, with movements from bottom to top.

    On a kitchen board, chop the remaining dark chocolate into flakes and then add to the mixture.

    Place the ice cream in the freezer and remove it every half hour for five or six times to stir.

  • The next day, the chocolate and Nutella ice cream will finally be ready to be enjoyed…a real delight to try at the end of lunch or dinner and when you need to cool off.
