The homemade brioches with cinnamon are the famous Swedish cinnamon rolls that are shaped like swirls and are soft and delicious.
These brioches are rolled and placed in a baking pan, joining together to form a rose cake. Beautiful to look at and delicious to eat.
This recipe, once made by a friend of mine, inspired me, and I finally made it together with my daughter.
A unique pleasure that I also recommend to all cinnamon dessert lovers.
The pastries can be easily separated from each other, which is handy.
Surely your children will appreciate these genuine treats.

- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp fresh yeast
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup butter
- 2 tbsp ground cinnamon
- 1 cup powdered sugar (For the glaze)
- 2 tbsp water
- 3/4 cup milk
- as needed sugar for sprinkling
Tools
- 1 Rolling pin
- Work surface
- Baking pan
Steps
Pour the flour into a container and add the sugar. Mix and make a well in the center.
Then pour the softened butter and warm milk with dissolved yeast into the center of the container.
Work with your hands until you get a soft dough for about fifteen minutes.
Cover the dough container with plastic wrap and let it rise for about two hours until it doubles.
Place the dough on the work surface, roll it out with a rolling pin, and shape it into a rectangular shape about half an inch thick
Grease the baking pan and sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon evenly.
Gently roll to form a roll. Adjust with your hands to give it a rather uniform appearance.
Cut the swirls about 1.5 inches thick and place them next to each other with a little space in between. Leave in the baking pan to rise for another hour.
Bake the homemade Swedish cinnamon rolls at 350 degrees Fahrenheit in the electric oven for about forty minutes.
Meanwhile, prepare the glaze by mixing the sugar with water thoroughly to avoid lumps.
Once baked, let the cinnamon rolls cool, and finally, drizzle a little glaze on top with a teaspoon.
The glaze filling is not necessary. If you prefer, you can skip it.
Considering that the swirls do not contain chocolate, they can also be stored outside the refrigerator.
They should preferably be consumed within two days.
You can use a round or rectangular baking pan.
