The pasta with cream and chicken is a first course that is also complete, nutritious, and creamy with cooking cream that pairs with the chicken bites which have a delicate and pleasant taste.
Among my favorite first courses, I find the pasta with cream and chicken enticing, which also solves the problem of the second course as it is also a one-dish meal.
The chicken bites browned in extra virgin olive oil, with bay leaves, make it well flavored. For this recipe, the “Farfalle” or “Rigatoni” pasta formats are also suitable, in addition to “Fusilli.”
- Difficulty: Easy
- Cost: Medium
- Preparation time: 20 Minutes
- Portions: 4 servings
- Cooking methods: Stovetop
- Cuisine: Italian
Ingredients
- 11 oz Pasta (Fusilli format)
- 14 oz Chicken (Preferably chicken breasts)
- 1 cup ml Sour Cream
- to taste Extra virgin olive oil
- 2 Shallots
- to taste Salt
- to taste Black pepper (Powdered)
Tools
- Pan
- Pot
Preparation
Boil the fusilli al dente in a pot with plenty of water for about nine/ten minutes from boiling.
Meanwhile, brown the shallots and diced chicken breast in the pan with four/five tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil. Then add bay leaf, salt, and a sprinkle of pepper, cover with a lid, stir occasionally, and cook for seven/eight minutes.
Finally pour the cooking cream and turn off the heat a few seconds later because it should not cook, otherwise it melts. Drain the pasta and mix the fusilli with the cream and the browned, fragrant chicken bites.
Serve the pasta with cream and chicken hot when everyone is already seated at the table.
Finally, the right solution to ensure even the second course is eaten with this nutritious and complete pasta.
Pasta with Cream and Chicken
Pasta with cream and chicken is a rather quick recipe also and especially suitable for picky children who, in this way, can eat both first and second courses simultaneously. It is a digestible dish since chicken is part of the white meats. White meats are indeed indicated especially for children, the elderly, and the sick.
However, eating only white meats is not good.
