- Baking Dish Microwave Safe
Preparation
Wash the plums and place them in a microwave-safe baking dish with a 6.5-7 inch diameter. Pour the sugar on top and cook on full power for ten minutes.
Open the oven and use a fork to remove the plums. To easily remove the pits, use the same fork or a teaspoon.
Then turn on the microwave to cook for another seven minutes. Repeat the process several times with more fruit if you have it in abundance.
To preserve the jam longer, simply put it hot into thoroughly washed jars with hot water. Close them tightly with new lids and place them upside down (lid down) on a cooking surface on a breadboard. Cover with a cloth so they will cool gradually, and the vacuum seal will work better.
Quick plum jam has a delicate taste, its sweetness is pleasant. Definitely try it with good homemade bread or toast.
