- to taste balsamic vinegar (preferably from Modena)
- to taste honey
Tools

- Cups
Steps
First, select the strawberries one by one and choose the ones that are intact and nicely presented. Those that are not intact can be used to make a good smoothie.
Place the strawberries without removing the stem in a large bowl, soaking them in plenty of water and a pinch of baking soda (knife tip) for about fifteen to twenty minutes.
Then drain the strawberries in a colander and rinse under running water.
Fill the cups with strawberries and let everyone sweeten it with honey as they wish, use balsamic vinegar and enjoy the dessert.
Strawberries with Sweet and Sour Balsamic Vinegar of Modena
The strawberries can also be sweetened in other ways with granulated sugar, brown sugar or sweetener. Without adding sugar but only with balsamic vinegar which makes them special, especially for those who, like me, love the sweet and sour taste.
Be careful, balsamic vinegar on strawberries should be used sparingly. A few drops per strawberry are enough. Too much vinegar could give an excessively sour taste that is not pleasant.
