Ingredients
- 10.5 oz whole wheat spaghetti
- 14 oz peeled tomatoes
- 1/2 onion
- 1 clove garlic
- to taste parsley
- 2 leaves basil
- to taste salt

Steps
Sauté finely chopped onion and garlic in a saucepan with extra virgin olive oil and drained tuna.
Add pureed peeled tomatoes, a teaspoon of capers, and a little chopped parsley.
Salt and cook for about thirty minutes on low heat.
Meanwhile, boil the whole wheat spaghetti in a pot with boiling water until al dente for about 8/9 minutes from boiling.
Drain the pasta and serve on plates with the sauce on top and fresh basil.
Put grated Parmesan cheese at the center of the table for those who desire it.
Finally, serve this first course hot, even steaming.
