With my recipe, you can make a delicious cantaloupe sorbet both with and without the Thermomix, using just a few ingredients

  • Preparing the Melon:

Remove the peel and seeds from the melon, cut it into pieces, and set aside.
    Sugar Grinding:

In the Thermomix bowl, add the sugar and grind for 15 seconds at speed 10. Use a spatula to bring the sugar to the bottom.
    Adding the Melon:

Add the melon pieces to the bowl and chop for 10 seconds at speed 5.
    Blending with Ice:

Add the ice cubes and blend for 1 minute at speed 9, occasionally stirring to achieve a homogeneous consistency.

  • Procedure without Thermomix:
    Preparing the Melon:

Peel and remove the seeds from the melon, then cut it into pieces and set aside.
    Preparing the Sugar:

In a mixer or blender, add the sugar and blend until you get a fine powder. You can skip this step by using half the amount in powdered sugar.

Chopping the Melon: Add the melon pieces to the mixer and blend until you get a smooth puree. If necessary, work in two batches.

    Adding the Ice:

Add the ice cubes and blend until you get a creamy and icy consistency. You may need to stop and stir with a spoon to facilitate the operation.

    Serving and Storage:

Serve the sorbet immediately in single-serving cups or store it in the freezer, stirring occasionally to maintain the perfect consistency.
