A classic from traditional cooking that never goes out of style and can be found in all versions. Today I present to you this very soft PEAR CAKE WITH CHOCOLATE CHIPS, easy, fruity, and delicious.

  • Rest time: 30 Minutes
  • Preparation time: 15 Minutes
  • Portions: 8
  • Cooking methods: Oven
  • Cuisine: Italian

Ingredients

  • 125 ml yogurt
  • 2 jars sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 jar sunflower oil
  • 8 g baking powder
  • 200 g pears (washed and peeled)
  • 80 g chocolate chips
  • 3 jars all-purpose flour

Steps

  • First, I preheated the oven to 356°F.
Butter and floured a 17 x 13-inch rectangular baking pan and set aside.
With electric beaters, I whipped the eggs in a large bowl until the mixture was frothy with the sugar.
Then I gradually added the sunflower oil and the jar of yogurt.
I washed the yogurt jar and dried it.

  • Then I gradually poured in the 3 jars of flour and the half packet of baking powder, mixing until smooth and lump-free.
Finally, I combined with the chocolate chips and the cleaned and sliced or diced pears.
Once everything was ready, I poured it into the center of the pan and leveled it.

  • As I wrote above, I preheated the oven to 356°F and buttered and floured a 17 x 13-inch rectangular pan.

I placed the butterfly in the bowl, added the yogurt, sugar, eggs, oil, flour, and baking powder. I started kneading for 30 seconds at speed 4.

  • Once finished kneading, I removed the butterfly and added the cleaned and thinly sliced or diced pears with the chocolate chips and mixed for 30 seconds at speed 2 counterclockwise.

  • I baked the pear cake pan for 45 minutes, always at 356°F, until the batter was nicely browned, and I removed it from the oven, leaving it to cool slightly.
Then I turned it onto a serving plate, cut it into pieces, and served it for a snack!
