On the occasion of Valentine’s Day I prepared the tiramisu hearts, an easy single-portion dessert to make quickly.
For the tiramisu hearts you only need a few ingredients, and just a few minutes for an impressive sweet to serve after dinner.
If you’re planning a dinner with couples of friends, it’s the perfect dessert to express your love sweetly!
Every year you can show your affection with a different dessert; below you’ll find some recipes.
- Portions: 8 pieces
- Cooking methods: No-cook
- Cuisine: Italian
- Seasonality: Valentine's Day
Ingredients
- 16 ladyfingers
- 1 cup (≈9 oz) mascarpone
- 2 tbsp instant coffee
- 4 tbsp powdered sugar
- 3 tbsp + 1 tsp Strega liqueur
- to taste unsweetened cocoa powder
Steps
In a bowl, add the mascarpone, the instant coffee and the powdered sugar.
Mix the ingredients well, making sure the coffee dissolves completely.
Cut the ladyfingers diagonally to create a heart shape.
Glue the two pieces together with a little cream.
Using a food brush, brush the heart with the liqueur and then fill it with the cream using a piping bag.
Cover with the other ladyfinger, brush with a little more liqueur and dust with cocoa when ready to serve.
What better way to celebrate love than with sweetness? Say “I love you” with a tiramisu heart because winning over your sweetheart through their stomach also matters!
