Want to try chestnuts in an air fryer with me? A quick and easy way to enjoy this precious fruit.
Autumn arrives, and with it, the season for this delicious fruit. It’s true, one chestnut leads to another, and sometimes you can’t stop and eat them in quantity. Just like I say, they are gluten-free, contain B group vitamins and folic acid, and provide iron and phosphorus, which is good for my memory.
Remember, while chestnuts are very beneficial, since they are starches, they are quite caloric, so let’s try to stop ourselves.
To avoid this (because I’m a big fan of chestnuts), I buy about 2/3 lbs and prepare them in the air fryer on Sundays, then eat 3/4 a day instead of walnuts as a snack.
With the air fryer, it’s very quick, especially because you just need to open and shake a little.
I’ll leave you some other recipes with chestnuts. Try them out before the season ends.
