In this case, I used traditional cream, but you can prepare it with dairy-free whipping cream.

  • 7 oz coffee

  • 1/4 cup rice malt (or powdered cane sugar)
  • 0.7 oz dark chocolate (shavings)

Tools

  • Molds for ice
  • Blenders

Quick Coffee Ice Cream Steps Without Ice Cream Maker

I prepared it with the Thermomix, but a powerful ice blender is enough.

  • Prepare a nice 6-cup coffee maker and then let the coffee cool. Transfer to ice molds and freeze.

Also, pour the cream into the ice cube molds and freeze that too.

The next day, pour the coffee cubes into the blender or Thermomix, and add either powdered sugar or rice malt. Blend until it becomes a frozen cream. Add the cream cubes and mix until you have a nicely churned ice cream. Pour everything into a container and leave it in the freezer overnight. If you can, after putting it in the freezer, stir the ice cream every 3 hours to prevent ice crystals from forming. Remove from the freezer 5 minutes before serving.

    Serve with dark chocolate shavings.

Tips from Timo and Lentils

You can prepare the same ice cream with a frozen fruit smoothie instead of coffee. You can sprinkle chopped nuts instead of chocolate.
