Instructions
The baked sea bream fillet with potatoes is cooked easily and quickly. Here are the steps and tips to get the best out of this recipe.
First, I recommend cleaning and filleting the sea bream. Remove the bones, making sure to take out even the smallest central ones using tweezers.
Once you have the fillets, most of the work is done.
For the potatoes to be cooked with the sea bream in the oven, I recommend using yellow or red ones. After peeling them with a peeler, slice the potatoes into wedges or thin slices using a mandoline.
Finish the potatoes and sea bream fillets with a drizzle of oil and flavor with some sprigs of marjoram.
Bake at 392°F for 25 minutes in a preheated static oven.
After 20 minutes, check the potatoes and if necessary extend the cooking by a few minutes.
Once the fish fillets are cooked, serve them at the table.
Your baked sea bream fillets with potatoes are ready!
Plating tips:
This is a simple dish, no special preparations are needed. Since you already have potatoes, you can skip additional sides, at most you can add a light seasonal salad.
Wine pairing with sea bream fillet:
The baked sea bream fillet pairs well with a savory and full-bodied white wine. For example, I recommend a Gavi or a classic Vermentino di Gallura.
