Procedure
Today we will see how to prepare the original recipe with chicken breast and its accompanying sauce, a delicious fresh dish perfect for summer. A secret to making the salad tastier is to leave the lettuce in cold water in the fridge for a few hours before serving.
Take the chicken breast and cut it into steaks about 3/4 inches thick. If you can’t do it, ask your trusted butcher to do it or buy the breast already sliced.
Place a pan on high heat and bring it to temperature. It should be hot to grill the chicken well.
When the pan is hot, grill the chicken on both sides until fully cooked. Be careful to cook the chicken well, as raw chicken is very dangerous to health.
An indispensable ingredient for a good Caesar Salad is bread croutons. You can buy them ready-made or use leftover bread to prepare delicious homemade bread croutons.
All that is left is to complete the recipe with a dressing called Caesar dressing.
The recipe is very easy, emulsify the ingredients until you get a creamy sauce. If the sauce is too liquid, you can add a tablespoon of mayonnaise.
Now we just have to prepare the salad. Cut the tomatoes in half, add them to the lettuce, and incorporate the chicken you previously cooked.
Finish with the bread croutons and cheese shavings, mix gently, and finish with a generous amount of dressing.
Your Caesar Salad is ready!
Serving Tips:
The beauty of this dish is mixing it at the table so the dressing is clearly visible and makes everything more delicious. If you have guests, I recommend preparing individual serving bowls.
Caesar Salad Wine Pairing:
I recommend pairing the Caesar salad with a fresh and aromatic white wine, for example, you can serve a Ribolla Gialla with intense, fine, and fruity aromas, with citrus and green apple notes that go well together.
