Ingredients for 2 people
- 2 coffee cups coffee
- 4 cubes ice
- 2 tablespoons almond milk syrup
Tools
- 1 Moka pot
Steps
Here are the simple and quick steps to follow to prepare a delicious Lecce coffee directly at your home.
The true Lecce coffee or Salento coffee is prepared at the bar with espresso coffee, at home you can make it with a coffee machine, but if you don’t have one, a Moka pot will also work.
For this recipe, a 2-cup Moka pot is enough.
When the coffee is ready, put 2 ice cubes in each glass just taken from the refrigerator. The glasses should be medium-sized glass large enough to hold the ice, coffee, and almond milk syrup.
Pour the almond milk syrup over the ice cubes. Be careful, for the real Lecce coffee recipe only almond milk syrup is used, not almond milk. Thanks to its dense and sugary consistency, it will make the coffee delicious.
Now all that’s left is to pour the hot coffee over the ice and syrup, and your Lecce coffee is ready!
