  • 3.5 oz dark chocolate
  • 3.5 oz butter
  • 2.65 oz sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder

Method

In this original recipe, I will show you how to prepare it in a few steps, for a delicious and striking result.

  • Roughly chop the dry biscuits and set them aside. Do not chop them too finely as you will need them in the filling to make the dessert resemble real salami as closely as possible.

  • In a small pot, melt the dark chocolate together with the butter over very low heat, stirring well.

    If you prefer not to use a pot, you can do this in the microwave at low speed for 30-60 sec.

  • In a separate bowl, beat the egg with the sugar until you obtain a frothy mixture.

  • Add the melted chocolate to the egg and sugar mixture, stirring well to combine everything.

  • Add the chopped biscuits to the cream obtained and mix until you get a homogeneous mixture.

  • Add the unsweetened cocoa and pour the mixture onto a sheet of baking paper, shaping it into a salami and wrapping it well in the paper.
